Falleras Mayores visit Mestalla ahead of Fallas festival
Valencia's Fallas festival has been rescheduled for September, after the celebrations were cancelled in 2020 and postponed in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As the city prepared for the famous event, the two faces of this year's Fallas, Consuelo Llobell and Carla García, were in attendance for Valencia CF's game against Deportivo Alavés at Mestalla last Friday.

Before kickoff, they visited the 'Ninots' exhibited inside the stadium that were created for the Sempre Falles initiative last season, in which visiting teams were presented with the souvenir models. The project was run alongside the Ayuntamiento city council to promote the city and support local artists.
Fans can also see the Ninots as part of the Mestalla Forever Tour.

Valencia CF president, Anil Murthy, presented the 'Falleras Mayores' with the team's new home and away shirts, as a souvenir of their very special visit to the stadium.
